Micalah S. Soileau was born and raised outside of Nashville in Lebanon, Tennessee. Micalah studied sociology at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Micalah worked at Herbert & Lux as a legal assistant prior to moving to Knoxville, Tennessee, to attend Lincoln Memorial University, Duncan School of Law. While in law school, Micalah interned with the Knox County Juvenile Court and worked for a small domestic law firm. After graduating and prior to joining Herbert & Lux as an Attorney, Micalah remained in Knoxville and worked at a firm where she focused primarily on domestic law, criminal law, and general litigation.
When not in court or in the office, Micalah loves spending time with her family, spending time outside, and traveling.
